WHAT WE REALLY NEED...
If you are interested in donating money and supporting Gabriel's Horn in projects that need to be completed to continue making the shelter safe and comfortable for the clients, click this link.
The following wish list consist of items that the shelter needs.
Gabriel's Horn has an Amazon Wish List. You can use this link to view and choose items off it for donation.
Because staff is not always available to receive donated items, these items can be delivered to the Portage Township Trustee's Office at 3590 Willowcreek Rd, Suite B, Portage, IN 46368. The office is open Mon-Thurs. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Fri. 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Staff will informed that they need to be picked up from the office.
To all of our gracious donors who have women's clothing items, things for children, furniture, etc. We ask that you help us by taking those items to one of the following places that support Gabriel's Horn's Clients. Our women can receive items from all of the listed organizations at no cost to them, so by sending items to these places, you are helping the women and children of Gabriel's Horn!

- All Purpose Cleaner - such as Clorox (Immediate Need)
- Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets (Immediate Need)
- Table Cloth - 54in by 78in (Immediate Need)
- Baby Wipes (Immediate Need)
- Dish Towels (Immediate Need)
- Multi-Use Cleaner - such as Fabuloso or Pine-Sol (Immediate Need)
- Fans for client rooms (oscillating or box)
- Grocery and Gift Cards
- Save-A-Lot, Family Dollar, or Dollar Tree cards are very helpful because they are easily accessible for residents and have a good selection of basic need items
- Gas Cards
- Fans for rooms
- Liquid Bleach
- Ajax Powder Cleaner
- Air Freshener (plug-ins)
- Peroxide
- Gauze Pads
- Triple Antibiotic Ointment packets
- Dishwasher Detergent for the Dishwashing machines
- Heavy Duty Kitchen Trash Bags
- Resealable Storage Bags - various sizes
- Plastic wrap
- Foil wrap
- Computers (ones that you or your business are no longer utilizing, that the clients can utilize on the shelter's wifi network for job searching, education, and connecting with services)
