Introducing the Shooting Star Campaign Be the light that leads a family home. Today, we are proud to officially launch the Shooting Star Campaign—a community effort to help us complete Family Promise of Porter County's new emergency family shelter. For the past year, we've worked tirelessly to transform our new shelter into a place where families experiencing homelessness can find safety, stability, and hope. While we've made incredible progress, unexpected construction costs, permit requirements, and project updates have created one final hurdle. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to complete the final phase of construction and open our doors to families who need us most.
